Position: Farm Labor

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $23.00/hr.

Language: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Location: NE-33-23-9 W2nd, RM of Stanley (Goodeve) S0A 1C0

 The Farm Labor will have to perform all of these duties:

• Plant, cultivate and irrigate the crops.
• Prepare and irrigate land
• Operate and maintain the farm machinery
• Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
• Sort, weigh and pack the produce at the farm
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport
• Clean up racks, trays, and harvest bins and general clean up of growing, producing and packing areas
• Assist with general farm maintenance of equipment and tools
• May need to write daily progress reports.

 Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, combination of sitting, standing and walking, standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling.

 Personal suitability: Organized, Team player, efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility.
