THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager. As part of our client's product management team, this role will be working with other members of the Product Development team . The Product Manager Product Manager develops compelling and high value content to be published, packaged, and deployed in a digital format, as well as other formats for Derola Consulting clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Product Manager manage will participate in content creation through the complete product lifecycle by identifying clients needs
- Product Manager will lead and execute market research for our clients,
- Conduct marketing programs and promotional campaigns to increase product awareness and visibility for clients
- Generate qualified leads, increase sales, promote product usage, drive customer satisfaction and increase customer retention
- Develop sales and product collateral materials
- Communicate product messaging, positioning, market differentiation and competitive advantage relative to other third party distributors of standards publications.
- Candidate should also have experience with planning, organizing and exhibiting at relevant tradeshows and conferences.
- Develop and execute the strategy and processes of the launch plans for new and enhanced plan for our clients
- Educate Clients on customer services and sales on new features, functionality and benefits as result of new and enhanced product release
- Analyze competitive and electronic trends with recommended plans for improvement and growth
Business Analysis Subject Matter Expertise:
- Provide knowledge on business analysis topics
- Monitor trends and new developments in the BA Discipline, Practices and Profession and help identify how they impact Derola Consulting market prospects
- Support the global BA Community with product-related information and recommendations to address their needs
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field of study
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing is required; Past experience as Product Marketing Manager or Marketing Project Manager would be a strong asset
- 3+ years working as a business analysis professional; experience working as a member of a product team would also e considered an asset
- Foundational marketing and campaign management experience is required
- Project management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to analyze relevant information and make informed decisions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects
- A moderate amount of travel within the province is required
- Prior experience with creating digital offerings would be considered an asset
- Prior experience working with a global and/or virtual organization would be considered an asset
SALARY: $61,596/yr
