Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
Supervision: 11-15 people
Specific Skills:
- Assisting the overall operation of the hotel during the evening and night hours
- Assist guests with their special needs and requirements including check in and check out procedures
- Respond pro-actively to guests requests and resolve their issues
- Co-ordinate with the staff, assign them work and ensure that the delegated tasks are complete
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Follow the safety and security procedures outlined by the company and report any safety hazard accidents
- Prepare reports and briefing sheets of vacant rooms
- Ensure hotel stock inventories are full
- Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of the property and ensuring it is immaculate at all times
- Ensure new deposits are entered into the system
- Ensure rooms are clean and ready for next day check ins
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the hotel management
