Position: Cook (Sweet Maker)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook individual sweet dishes (e.g., barfi, laddu, gulab jamun, rasgulla, ras malai, etc.)
• Plan menus, ensure quality of sweet dishes and determine size of dish proportions.
• Estimates sweets requirements and costs.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of sweets
• Work with specialized cooking equipment such as deep fryer.
• Clean the kitchen and work areas.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Order supplies and equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of college program in cooking/food safety or Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience
• Functional English is required
