JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Overtime required, Repetitive tasks, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure

Personal Suitability: Effective interpersonal skills, Dependability, Accurate, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability.

• Accounting software

Specific Skills

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts
