Job description:
Shabodi Corp. located at 4 Robert Speck Pky, suite 240, Mississauga, ON, L4Z 1S1 requires 1 Telecommunications Software Specialist on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 53 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Over 5 years of experience is required as Telecommunications software specialist. Roles and responsibilities
- Help Scrum Teams as Subject Matter Expert (Telecom and Networking Protocols)
- Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements and architecture.
- Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Work closely with Sales and Technology team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Lead the planning product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
- Follow our competitors and the industry.
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of Core Network protocols, good understanding of network architecture of 5G/4G networks
- Working level knowledge of different 3GPP defined protocol layer & stack, specification is an asset; Should have working knowledge of 5G/4G technologies on Radio side and Transport side
- Experience in developing or integrating with real-time systems for networking products.
- Experience in developing with Software Defined Network Elements is an asset.
- Understanding of Network protocols and access (MPLS, OpenBGP, OpenFlow) is an asset.
- Understanding of networking principles and concepts (SDN-WAN, SDN, labelling, routing etc.) is an asset.
- Understanding of 3GPP/5G network management, including Radio configuration, QoS management, SLA management, Netconf, SNMP, directives is an asset.
