TCI Logistics is a trucking company based in Surrey, BC. We are seeking energetic and safety conscious long haul truck drivers for Canadian and US highways as our fleet grows to meet growing logistics needs.

Wage: $28.00 per hour
Expected start date: As soon as possible.
Work location: 13902 Grosvenor RD, Surrey, BC and need to drive truck across Canada and the United States.
Job Duties
- Operation of Tractor-Trailer to transport goods and materials over long distances.
- Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
- Perform pre-trip, enroute and post trip inspection of vehicle system, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, turning signals, brakes, and cold storage.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting goods.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, fuel consumption and prepare trip envelope.
- Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management.
- Record rest periods, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with supervisor/dispatcher and customers to organize routing and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Class 1 driver’s license or equivalent.
- Air brake endorsement.
- Experience as long-haul truck driver would be an asset.
- Functional English.
- Clean Driver’s abstract.
