Salary:$17.00/hour. Overtime rate of $25.50/hour after 40 hours per week.

Requirements:
Language: Functional English
Education: Completion of Secondary (high) School
Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years’ experience in commercial baking or
Completion of a three- or four-year apprenticeship program for bakers or
Completion of a college or other program for bakers.
Job Description:
Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
Bake mixed doughs and batters
Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
Ensure quality of products meets established standards
Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce
Purchase baking supplies,
Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
May train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
Operate machinery
Prepare special orders
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure
