Heavy Equipment Operator Required at Condrain Group

Role: Heavy Equipment Operator [(contract type for three years e.g., full-time, permanent term)]
Location: 30 Floral Parkway, Concord, Ontario L4K 4R1, Canada
Salary: $36.00 to $42.00 per hour (To be Negotiated)

Condrain Group has been in the infrastructure construction business since 1954. Today, the company's business interests include community development, site servicing, municipal capital works, water and sewer infrastructure. 

• We are in the urgent need of a Heavy Equipment Operator who knows how to operate heavy equipments such as backhoe, bulldozers.
• We prefer someone who has a working experience as a Heavy Equipment Opertaor for minimum of 1 year and who has the physical fit to operate and maintain the machinery.
• It is a physically demanding job, requires to work overtime.
• The candidate must have an excellent oral communication in English Language,

Peaks: We will be offering an overtime pay per hour after working 50 hours in any week. Further, we will offer 10 days of paid vacation each calendar year. 

Working Setting: Outdoors, Hot

Type of industry experience- Large diameter pipeline contruction

About you – preferred requirements for this role

An ideal candidate must have a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 years to 2 years OR an equivalent experience of atleast 1 year as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

Duties:

• • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, back hoe, front-end loader and graders pursuant to the required need at the worksite.
  • Calculating weight, distance, volume of the rock, debris and other surface materials; and then operate appropriate equipment for the accurate movement of materials.
  • Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
  • Perform regular inspection and keep a record of maintenance on vehicle such as checking engine oil, coolant, water and tire pressure.
  • Load and offload rocks, debris, and other material from sewer and watermains.
  • Coordinate and communicate with co-worker to ensure tasks are organized and completed at the ends of each shift.
  • Perform excavation and load dump truck with debris and gravels.
  • Work in coordination and advise the line manager of the requisite upgrades, repair and replacement. 
  • Ensure all the warning signs are present at the workplace and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Working Hours in each week – 40 to 50 hours
