Job summary:

Wash and peel vegetables and fruits used in food menus, clean all appliances including deep fryer, countertops and all the utensils, Assist with emptying the garbage and sanitize the containers, unpack the received fresh food and refrigeration items and store them in appropriate areas, clean floors and assist kitchen staff in performing their duties

Job description:

Duties:

• Wash dishes and utensils
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Stock refrigerators
• Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and other storage areas
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Sweep and mop floors; and
• Assist cooks and other kitchen staff.

 

Salary: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
