Job description:
Tasks
Research and identify prospective suppliers of event equipment and services, such as tents, tables, chairs, catering, entertainment, etc.
Liaise with internal project teams and clients to understand their event needs and specifications.
Evaluate products and suppliers according to key criteria such as quality, availability, price, reliability, and sustainability.
Negotiate purchase terms and conditions with vendors and suppliers to ensure the best value for the company and its clients.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements in accordance with company policies and procedures
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns in a timely manner.
Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and services and provide feedback to suppliers.
Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and records.
