Employment Start Date: ASAP

Wage Rate: $ 38.50 per hour

Employment Type: Full – time, (35 hours per week) Permanent employment

Employment Duration: Term of 2 years

Work Location: Edmonton, AB

As a Construction Cost Estimator, the following duties must be performed:

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
• Estimate pre-contract costs
• Analyze tenders and recommend awards
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
• Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
• Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
• Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Other requirements:

Language of work: English

Education: Must have completed a minimum of Bachelor's degree.

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years relevant experience is a must. Must experience in Civil

Computer and technology knowledge: Must be competent in using Spreadsheets, MS Excel, MS Word, Quick Books

Personal suitability attributes required: Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Team player
