Job Description:

• Direct and oversee the work of janitors and cleaners who perform light, industrial, or specialized cleaning duties
• Assist cleaners in performing duties
• Prepare a budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
• Hire, train, and plan the cleaning crew's work schedule
• Suggest or make arrangements for any extra services needed
• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Check locations or facilities to make sure the prescribed safety and hygienic requirements are followed.
• Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
• May perform certain cleaning duties

Education and Work Experience:

• Completion of secondary school is required or equivalent work experience
• 7 months to less than 1 year work experience is preferred

Skills: 

• Excellent management skills
• Ability to supervise 5-10 people
• Attention to detail
• Team Worker

Wage Rate: 

• $ 29 per hour
