Shipping coordinator-Wilson Trophy Company Inc.

Location: 1318 Britannia Road East suite Unit 30-31Mississauga, ON, L4W 1C8

Salary: 27.00 hourly / 32.00 hours per Week

Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time

Start date: Starts as soon as possible.

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks

·         Prepare and manage all aspects within the shipping and receiving department, which includes preparation of shipping labels, Bill of landing documents, customs paperwork and cross border documentations, barcode inspections, tracking packages and resolving shipping related queries.

·         Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments

·         Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments

·         Prepare and submit reports for senior management.

·         Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units

·         Compile worksheets and specifications of orders

·         Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.

·         Supervise and coordinate with order pickers.

·         Prepare shipping quotes for customers.

·         Maintain a tight shipping budget by negotiating shipping fees with different couriers.

·         Keep a meticulous record of shipping information.
