Salary:         

$27.00 per hour (full-time position; 40 hours per week)

Job Description:

• Supervise fishmongers and other fish market department staff
• Train fishmongers and other staff in fish market department
• Assign duties to fish market department staff and prepare work schedules
• Sell, prepare, clean, cut and wrap fish and seafood products in accordance with customer requests
• Manage inventory; review and approve payments of fish deliveries
• Ensure that all fresh/frozen fish and seafood is stored properly and that coolers maintain correct temperatures to ensure freshness
• Deal with customer complaints, problems with deliveries, etc.
• Meet with management regularly to discuss problems, improve services and discuss issues with staff as required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience in handling fish and seafood products
