- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and performance evaluations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Address employee concerns and conflicts, conducting investigations if necessary.
- Communicate and enforce HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Regularly review and revise employee handbooks and related materials.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training sessions and workshops.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback.
- Conduct market research to ensure the company's compensation and benefits remain competitive.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and assist in the selection process.
- Conduct reference checks and employment verifications.
Qualification and Skills
- College or CEGEP level education in similar or equivalent field
- Prior experience of 2 years to less than 3 years in similar or equivalent position
- Exceptional English communication and Verbal skills to be able to conduct interviews and hiring operations of the company
- Ability to handle large workload efficiently and effectively
- Able to provide judgements and analytical decisions as when required by job position
- Attention to detail to submit work or send communications without error
- Strong working knowledge of Human Resource Software, MS Office, MS Word, MS Access, MS Power point
Job Details
Salary: $36.50 per hour
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Overtime: Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times of your base pay rate over 44 hours of work per week
Vacation Pay: 4% of the gross paid bi-weekly
