IT Support Technician
Job Title/Position: IT Support Technician at Northeast Computers, Brooks, AB
Wage/Salary: $ 22/ hour for 32-40 hours a week
Duration/Location: Permanent/Full Time at Northeast Computers. Brooks, AB
No. of positions- Multiple
Languages - English
Education - Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming or network administration
Experience - 1 year to less than 2 years in IT troubleshooting, Industry certifications are an asset
Duties
- Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced as well as providing resolution
- Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by end users
- Provide advice and training to clients and/or end users in response to identified difficulties
- Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
- Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Participate in the installation and troubleshooting of applications and other software
