Location: Mississauga, ON L5T 1B6
Salary: $65.00 per hour; 30 hours per week
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Developing sales strategies, setting sales targets, and creating sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and determining sales tactics to stay competitive in the lighting industry.
- Managing and leading a sales team, including hiring, training, and coaching sales representatives. Providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets sales goals and objectives. Motivating and incentivizing the team to drive performance.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners. Collaborating with customers to understand their lighting needs, providing product information, offering solutions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Tracking sales performance, monitoring key metrics, and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement. Conducting regular sales reviews and implementing action plans to address performance gaps and optimize sales effectiveness.
- Collaborating with finance and other stakeholders to develop sales forecasts and budgets. Monitoring actual sales performance against targets and adjusting strategies and budgets as needed.
- Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors' activities. Using market insights to identify market opportunities, develop pricing strategies, and refine product positioning.
- Leading sales presentations to potential clients, distributors, or other stakeholders. Negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale to secure new business and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment and synergy. Providing input on product development, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and distribution plans.
- Generating sales reports and providing regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and key initiatives. Communicating sales strategies, targets, and progress to the sales team and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process. Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining customer satisfaction to foster long-term relationships.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members and other stakeholders. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is typically required.
- Previous experience of 5 years or more in sales, preferably in a leadership or managerial role is highly valued.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Experience in managing and developing a sales force, setting performance goals, and conducting performance evaluations.
