Location –Mississauga, ON L4Y 2A1

Salary- $58.00 per hour for 40 Hours per week

Job type- Full-time, Permanent position

Overtime- 1.5 times gross pay after the completion of 44 hours

Role Description 

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the overall goals and objectives. This includes workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention strategies, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion initiatives specific to the industry.
  • Overseeing talent management processes, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee development. This involves ensuring a strong talent pipeline, implementing effective talent acquisition strategies, and promoting employee growth and retention.
  • Designing and implementing performance management systems to drive employee productivity and development.
  • Overseeing the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs specific to the industry. This includes conducting market research, managing salary structures, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing organizational development strategies to drive change, improve performance, and enhance employee engagement. This may include organizational design, culture building, change management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Identifying training needs and designing development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies specific to the requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations, safety standards, and labor laws. This includes staying updated on relevant legislation, implementing risk management strategies, and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Collaborating with industry associations, unions, and external stakeholders to build relationships and ensure the organization stays informed about specific trends, challenges, and best practices.

 Role Eligibility 

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required
  • Significant 5 or more years of experience in progressively responsible HR roles. This may include experience in talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR strategy. Prior experience in a senior HR leadership or executive role is essential.
  • A solid understanding of business operations and the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for this role.
  • Thorough understanding of unique HR challenges, regulations, and trends to effectively support the organization's human capital needs.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS Excel, with a strong understanding of their user-friendly features, is essential.
