Plumber
Aircon Mechanical Systems is looking for an individual with a very strong work ethic and an in-depth understanding of mechanical systems. We are looking to enhance our existing team of expert mechanical installers.
You would be joining a team of genuine people with a great culture who enjoy learning and working alongside each other. The position would be to lead new plumbing installations as well as work alongside our team of sheet metal mechanics, gas fitters and refrigeration technicians to complete projects. Aircon Mechanical is heavily involved with high rise mechanical retrofits, including Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Pumps, and other hydronic equipment. Aircon Mechanical is also involved in many new construction projects such as large custom homes, office towers and other commercial buildings.

This full-time Plumber Journeyman position will be working primarily on condos in downtown Toronto.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand heating and cooling systems to isolate for piping demo
Place new equipment with considerations of equipment clearances required
Measure and order materials required to pipe in new equipment from existing systems
During piping measure up, also taking into consideration other connections and terminations for equipment. (venting, gas, electrical, etc.) to ensure there are no interferences
Lead and direct other plumbing apprentices
Complete piping systems, leak test, flush and fill
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
5 years of experience required
Experience working in ICI - Industrial, Commercial, Institutional an asset
G2 gas license an asset
Salary: $40 - 55.00 / hour
Bonus: 10% vacation pay
