Job description:
Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Review the monthly financial statements of all companies to ensure accuracy and prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare month-end reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management.
- Recommend changes in policies or procedures to enhance financial performance.
- Conduct monthly reporting and variance analysis of financials.
Yearly Budget Planning and Tracking:
- Prepare and analyze budgets, tracking and reporting budget variances.
- Develop, coordinate, and report budgets and forecasts for individual departments.
- Provide senior management with budgets and periodic forecasts, including profit and loss (income statement).
Ongoing Expense Control:
- Update the global employee list on a monthly basis.
- Analyze and control US credit card expenses.
- Monitor operating performance for the upcoming quarter and year.
- Analyze and report customer margins, regional margins, and product margins.
- Perform revenue and cost maintenance and analysis for PLM Services.
Zoho:
- Take an active role in the implementation of Zoho accounting requirements, systems, and processes.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to new accounting requirements.
- Calculate sales commissions for the US and Canada
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience with Zoho or other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
