Location: Morden, MB R6M 1G3
Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour (to be negotiated) for 35 to 48 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the work of a team of cleaners, assigning tasks, and ensuring that they are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible to train new cleaners on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Inspect the areas the team cleaned to ensure they meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
- Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stocked and in good working condition. One may also need to order new supplies when necessary.
- Resolving any issues or complaints that arise regarding cleaning services. This may involve liaising with clients, building management, or other relevant parties.
- Must ensure that the team follows all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Responsible for creating work schedules for your team, ensuring adequate coverage for all areas that require cleaning. Efficient time management and the ability to prioritize tasks are crucial.
- One may need to maintain records of cleaning activities, such as completed tasks, supplies used, and any incidents or accidents that occur. These records can help with tracking performance and addressing any issues that arise.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Prior experience working as a cleaner or in a similar role is highly valued. This experience helps demonstrate knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and standards.
- Overseeing and coordinating a team and experience in a supervisory or leadership role to demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- A good understanding of different cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents is important. Familiarity with industry best practices and the ability to train and guide cleaning staff on proper cleaning methods are valuable skills.
- Strong communication (in English) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide clear instructions, give feedback, and address concerns, are essential.
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating cleaning activities. One must manage his time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and ensure that cleaning duties are completed on schedule.
- A keen eye for detail and be committed to maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards. This includes conducting inspections, identifying areas that need improvement, and ensuring that cleaning tasks are performed to the required standards.
- Cleaning work can be physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions. Good physical stamina and overall health are essential.
