Grace of India restaurant is looking for full time, permanent Food Counter Attendants located at 1284 Kingsway Avenue Vancouver,BC, Canada, V3V 3E1
Job Descripton: Food Counter Attendant
Wage: $17.50 per hour, 40 hours per week
Anticipated Date: As soon as possible
Positions Available: 2
Job Duties:
Take customers' orders.
Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.
Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
Remove kitchen garbage and trash
Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders
Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties.
Serve customers at counters.
May receive payment for food items purchased.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School.
Work Experience: No experience required. Will train on the job.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
Must work well within a team culture
A positive and team-oriented attitude
You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods
