Responsibilities

Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment, Complete and maintain test and service reports, Test equipment to locate transmission faults, Determine nature, cause and location of trouble, Read and interpret blueprints, Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures, Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers, Splice, join and connect wires

Credentials 

Working at heights training, CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate

Experience and specialization

Coaxial line, Fibre optics, Single line, Copper, Aerial and underground cable lines, Splitters

Additional information

Security and safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check

Transportation/ travel information

Valid driver's licence, Own transportation

Work conditions and physical capabilities
