Job Summary 

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the coordination of smooth functioning of the head office and its 40+ franchise pizza stores. As an Operations Manager at Pizza Depot, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and efficiency of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and manage objectives for the company while formulating and approving policies and programs that align with our strategic vision. As the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction that Pizza Depot is known for. Your strategic thinking, leadership, and ability to manage resources effectively will be pivotal in driving our continued growth and success.

Job Description and Duties: 

  • Manage the overall operations of Springdale Pizza Depot Ltd. and implement any measures required to ensure successful functioning and company growth
  • Direct, advise and collaborate with regions, divisions, departments and franchises to facilitate and evaluate their growth and functioning
  • Assign resources (material, human, and financial) to execute organizational policies and programs, establish financial and administrative checks, endorse promotional campaigns, and approve personnel planning.
  • Set company goals and create or endorse policies and initiatives
  • Follow up on goals, targets and programs outcomes, evaluate and revise strategies
  • Propose and arrange the formation of new departments or locations
  • Act as the company's representative or appoint delegates to handle negotiations or official duties on behalf of the company
  • Conduct selection of management staff, approve recruiting strategies
  • Foster business connections and solidify the company’s place in the industry
  • Work with finance department to establish operating budgets


Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, Long Term


Hours of Work:
30 hours per week

 

Wages:  $61.60 per hour

 

Overtime: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations

 

Benefits Package: 

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis

Anticipated Start Date of Employment:  As soon as possible


Education, Experience and Language Requirements:

  • At least two years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Post-secondary education related to business management is an asset
  • Verbal and written English communication skills
