Salary: $29.00 per hour for 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Building and installing wooden structures, such as fences, decks, pergolas, gazebos, and outdoor furniture, according to design plans and specifications.
- Choosing appropriate lumber and other materials for carpentry projects, considering durability, aesthetics, and budget constraints.
- Fit and install, windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware. Taking accurate measurements and marking layout lines to ensure precise cuts and assembly of wooden components.
- Using various tools, such as saws, chisels, and routers, to cut and shape wood into required sizes and forms.
- Employing different joinery techniques, like nails, screws, and adhesives, to assemble wooden structures securely.
- Inspecting and repairing existing wooden structures and performing routine maintenance to prolong their lifespan.
- Adapting carpentry projects to suit specific client preferences and needs, providing personalized solutions.
- Adhering to safety protocols and using protective equipment while operating tools and machinery.
- Identifying and resolving issues that arise during construction, ensuring the successful completion of carpentry tasks.
- Maintaining carpentry tools and equipment in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions.
- Ensuring a clean and organized work area and appropriately disposing of construction waste and debris.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in carpentry work is preferred.
- Strong carpentry skills, including knowledge of tools, equipment, and construction techniques, are essential.
- Often engage in physically demanding tasks, so good physical fitness is advantageous.
- Understanding blueprints, measurements, and calculations related to carpentry projects is important.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and guidelines in construction settings is crucial.
- One should have the ability to identify and solve issues that arise during construction projects.
- Paying close attention to detail is necessary to ensure precise measurements and accurate assembly of wooden structures.
- Effective English communication with team members, supervisors, and clients is valuable for project coordination.
- Managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines and complete carpentry tasks within specified timelines.
- Being adaptable to work in various construction environments and tackle different types of carpentry projects.
- Familiarity with a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment and the ability to use them effectively.
