Salary: $27.50 per hour for 35 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day administrative activities such as coordinating schedules, maintaining office supplies, and handling correspondence.
- Providing support to senior management and staff by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and preparing documents.
- Handling incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and memos, and ensuring timely responses.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems, including employee records, financial documents, and other important records.
- Coordinating office maintenance and repairs, managing office equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Assisting in budget preparation, tracking expenses, and processing invoices and purchase orders.
- Assisting with HR functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel files, and coordinating employee benefits.
- Planning and organizing company events, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
- Collecting and organizing data, generating reports, and analyzing information to support decision-making processes.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations, including data protection and health and safety guidelines.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement for this role.
- Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in administrative or office support roles is often desired. This could include experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a similar position that involves organizational and administrative tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for an office administrator. You should be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Responsible for managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities. Excellent organizational skills are crucial for maintaining efficient operations, managing schedules, and handling various administrative duties.
- Paying close attention to details is important, as they often handle sensitive information, maintain records, and perform tasks that require accuracy and precision.
- Proficiency in using standard office software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications is usually required. Familiarity with email, calendar management, and other digital tools is also important.
- Being able to think critically, identify issues, and propose solutions, as well as adapt to changing circumstances, is valued in an office administration role.
- Having good interpersonal skills, being approachable, and maintaining a professional demeanor are important.
