JOB SUMMARY: 

We are looking to add to our team a passionate and efficient Restaurant Supervisor who can work collaboratively to oversee all responsibilities related to restaurant operations and maintenance. We need an experienced Restaurant Supervisor with a great attitude and strong leadership skills to join our team. Our ideal candidate has the ability to work in a dynamic team environment, multitask, and effectively communicate with front and back of the house staff.

  

JOB TITLE: Restaurant Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES: 

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the duties of kitchen staff and servers
  • Ensure the food and service provided meet the quality control standards as per company policy
  • Ensure that proper sanitation, safety and hygiene procedures are being followed by the staff
  • Train new crew members in job duties, company policies and procedures
  • Train crew members for new menu items as introduced by the company
  • Involved in recruitment and selection of restaurant staff
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of dine-in area, food prep area, washrooms etc. and assign these duties to crew members as required
  • Prepare daily sheets such as food wastage reports, food temperature logs etc.
  • Ensure that store signage is as per company’s promotions
  • Maintain stock of ingredients and supplies for each shift and place inventory orders for such items as required
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Report to management and attend meetings as required
  • Provide support to front and back-of-the-house staff during rushes and busy periods
  • Prepare sales reports per shift
  • Other related duties as needed

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, permanent


HOURS OF WORK:
40 hours per week

 

WAGES:  $20.05 per hour

 

OVERTIME: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.

 

BENEFITS PACKAGE:

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by employer.
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis.

 

LOCATION OF WORK: 888 Burrard St #102, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1X9

 

ANTICIPATED START DATE OF EMPLOYMENT: As soon as possible.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of Secondary school is required.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • One year of related Food Service experience.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Sometimes work in a noisy and distracting environment.

  • Must be a team player, flexible, reliable and organized.
  • Must be available for all hours of operation including overtime and weekend work as required.
