Salary: $26.50 per hour for 35 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and host/hostesses.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences by overseeing service quality, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, coordinating shifts, and handling customer flow.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to prevent shortages while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with chefs to design menus, update specials, and ensure food quality and consistency.
- Maintain budgetary guidelines, controlled costs, and optimize revenue generation through pricing strategies and upselling techniques.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Continuously modify the menu items as well as their prices in accordance with the customers’ demand.
- Address conflicts among staff members and customers professionally and efficiently.
- Conduct performance reviews for staff, providing feedback, and setting goals for improvement.
- Optimize workflows, streamline processes, and implement efficient systems to enhance overall restaurant performance.
- Prepare and analyze financial (cash) reports, including sales figures, costs, and profits, to inform decision-making.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/ college degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in the food service industry for 3 to 5 years is crucial.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the capability to motivate and manage a diverse team, are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally are important for maintaining a positive dining experience.
- Strong organizational skills to manage staff schedules, inventory, and daily operations effectively.
- Clear communication with staff, customers, and vendors is vital for smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- The ability to handle unexpected situations, address conflicts, and make quick decisions is crucial in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and employment laws is important for maintaining compliance.
- Paying attention to the smallest details ensures that food quality, cleanliness, and service standards are upheld.
- Often need to juggle various tasks simultaneously, so strong multitasking skills are beneficial.
- The ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently is important.
