Location: Mississauga, ON L5M 1K3
Salary: $22.50 hourly for 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the sales team, including training, scheduling, and managing their performance to ensure efficient and effective customer service.
- Engage with customers, provide assistance, answer questions, and address concerns to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Set sales goals and targets for the retail section, motivating the team to achieve or exceed them.
- Authorize return of merchandise. Train staff to upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction values.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and reorder products as needed to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Prepare sales reports, analyze trends, and present insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Oversee cash registers, ensure accuracy in transactions, and manage petty cash for the retail section.
- Gather customer feedback on products, services, and overall experience, and use it to make improvements.
- Hire and train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to improve their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Address customer complaints or issues related to the retail section promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations related to sales, pricing, and product handling.
- Utilize point-of-sale systems and other relevant software to process sales and manage inventory.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is usually the minimum requirement
- 2 to 3 years of experience in sales, retail, or customer service roles is required.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and tasks as required in a restaurant retail setting.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and motivate the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service and achieving sales targets.
- Understanding of retail and restaurant operations, including inventory management, point of sale systems, and customer engagement strategies.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Ability to organize merchandise displays, manage inventory, and oversee the store's appearance.
- A collaborative mindset to work with other departments and team members to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Efficiently balancing administrative tasks, team supervision, and customer interactions within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sales techniques, upselling, and cross-selling strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets, and other software tools relevant to retail operations.
- Aptitude for quickly addressing challenges, making decisions, and finding solutions to various issues that may arise during daily operations.
