Location –Mississauga, ON L4Y 2A1

Salary- $29.10 per hour for 35 Hours per week

Job type- Full-time, Permanent position

Overtime- 1.5 times gross pay after the completion of 44 hours

Role Description 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the office. Ensure smooth functioning and efficiency in workflow.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events. Manage calendars and schedules for executives or teams.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
  • Maintain and organize records, documents, and files.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and materials.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures and policies.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies and order when necessary. Ensure proper functioning of office equipment.
  • Oversee office maintenance and facilities.
  • Generate and present special reports on various office activities.
  • Address inquiries from clients, visitors, and employees.
  • Identify and resolve administrative issues or challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments.

Role Eligibility 

  • A high school graduation certificate or a related discipline is typically required. 
  • Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in an administrative role is crucial for this job. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal are highly valued.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • A solid understanding of office procedures, administrative processes, and business etiquette is important. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards can also be beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a customer service-oriented attitude are important.
  • Offices and organizational needs can change, so being adaptable and open to learning new processes or technologies is important.
