Job description:
Wage: $41.20 per hour (permanent, full-time position – 40 hours /week)
Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Vancouver Area and in British Columbia
Specific Skills:
- Supervise construction workers & projects, including recommendations on hiring and promotions;
- Coordinate and schedule activities of skilled trades in concrete & cement finishing
- Responsible for training and ensuring all employees follow safety procedures and company policies;
- Ensure sufficient materials are on job sites & place requisitions for materials, equipment and supplies as required;
- Prepare and submit work reports
- Resolve work problems and propose solutions
- Ability to supervise a crew of 5-10 people
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling, etc.
Job Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in the trade
