Salary- $55.00 per hour for 35 hours per week

Overtime – 1.5 times gross pay after 44 hours of work

Role Description
- Lead the individuals/teams in attaining the desired targets keeping in mind adherence to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Initiating corrective action-based KPIs, downtime, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports; to increase uptime and efficiency and reduce downtime and waste (labor, time, material, process, part)
- Monitoring and tracking maintenance performance and taking action to ensure KPIs are on track.
- Supporting Maintenance Cost Containment objectives by tracking labor OT and R&M budget
- Hire, train, and manage staff, and ensure team leaders are guiding the teams as per standards including drivers, dispatchers, and administrative personnel.
- Ensure the company is compliant with all Federal and Provincial transportation-related regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture within the maintenance department and the company’s fleet by ensuring all equipment is maintained in proper order, and all maintenance concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
- Be an integral part of decision-making process by analyzing and reviewing reports submitted by subordinates and formulating policies accordingly.
- Develop and manage budgets for various operational aspects, including maintenance, and personnel costs.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential accidents, liability, and cargo loss.
- Reporting to the Directors of the company to develop long-term business strategies and goals for the company.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for expansion.
- Analyze operational reports, financial statements, and performance metrics to assess company performance and make informed decisions.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, maintenance providers, and other external partners to ensure smooth business operations.
- Develop contingency plans for emergencies, accidents, and unexpected disruptions in operations.
Role Eligibility
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
- Prior experience of a minimum of 5 years or more is essential for this role.
- The budgetary responsibility falls between $500,001 - $1,500,000.
- Possess familiarity with modern technology and computer systems, demonstrating proficiency in using MS Office.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and make strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership and management abilities to oversee and guide the company's operations and team effectively.
- Experience in managing and leading teams to achieve business objectives.
