Salary- $27.25 per hour for 35 Hours per week

Role Description
- Ensuring precise handling of financial transactions, including sales and purchase payments, among others.
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial records to pinpoint inconsistencies and address any discrepancies.
- Maintaining general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers to ensure organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Managing payroll operations, which involve calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and guaranteeing punctual salary disbursements to employees.
- Generating financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial data and supporting analysis.
- Guaranteeing adherence to pertinent financial regulations and standards.
- Maintaining confidentiality and data security protocols for sensitive financial information.
- Cooperating with accountants, financial managers, or others to provide assistance in making informed financial decisions.
- This position involves maintaining financial records and achieving equilibrium in diverse accounts through a combination of manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Role Eligibility
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
- Effective English communication skills are valuable for interacting with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in bookkeeping or a similar role is often preferred.
- Proficiency in using bookkeeping software like QuickBooks and familiarity with spreadsheet applications like MS Excel are valuable skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong mathematical abilities are also essential.
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or other similar systems, is often required. Knowledge of computerized bookkeeping systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, financial transactions, and basic accounting practices is important
- Strong organizational skills to manage financial records, maintain order, and meet deadlines. Time management skills are crucial for handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- The ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies or errors, and reconcile accounts is important. Strong problem-solving skills contribute to resolving issues related to financial records.
- Collaboration and the ability to work as part of a team may be necessary.
