We are looking for a full-time and permanent Construction Painter to assist with our growing business.
Salary: C$25.00 per hour (30-40hrs/week) with 4% paid vacation.Overtime will be calculated after 40hrs.
Work location: Various Locations throughout lower Mainland, Burnaby, BC.

Job requirement:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Previous work experience is an asset.
- Must be able to work on scaffolding and ladders safely.
- Attention to detail.
- Not afraid of height.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the instructions and specifications to estimate the quantities of materials.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by power washing surfaces, scraping, sanding, and sandblasting.
- Remove old wallpaper and paint; repair cracks and holes in walls by using filler and mudding.
- Do primer filler and sand wall surfaces.
- Cover areas that are not going to be painted; remove and dispose of materials used to protect areas and edges once the painting task is completed.
- Confirm the paint color we received from the supplier.
- Apply paint on the required area using brushes, rollers, or other spray equipment.
- Occasionally do painting using oil stain for certain areas.
- Put up and take apart scaffolding, ladders, ramps, and barricades.
- May present the options of colour schemes to customers or help them to choose the suitable color in walls.
- May provide cost estimates to clients.
- Collaborating with other design and construction specialists.
