Job Responsibilities:
- Assign material, human, and financial resources to execute organizational policies and initiatives effectively.
- Authorized to oversee the formation of key departments and corresponding senior staff roles.
- Manage the coordination of regions, divisions, or departments.
- Develop a framework for financial and administrative oversight, authorize promotional campaign proposals, and provide approval for the overall human resources strategic planning.
- Set organizational goals, endorse policies, and validate programs through a defined process.
- Act as the organization's representative or appoint delegates to represent the organization in negotiations and official functions.
- Choose middle managers, directors, or other executives, empower them with the required authority, and cultivate an environment that fosters optimal working conditions.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and performance metrics.
- Leading and developing a team of financial professionals. Setting performance goals, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Eligibility requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is typically required.
- Substantial experience of 5 years or more in the financial industry, including progressively responsible roles, is often expected.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and investors. Strong knowledge and expertise in financial analysis, financial modeling, risk management, investment strategies, and other relevant financial disciplines are essential
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams are critical. This includes skills in guiding and motivating staff, setting goals and objectives, and making strategic decisions.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships, negotiate deals, and present financial information clearly is important
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting is important for this position.
- Oversee financial statements, financial reporting processes, and financial performance analysis.
Location: Mississauga, ON L5S 1V6
Salary: 60.50 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
