Position:                           Pharmacy Assistant

Duration:                          Permanent, Full-Time (will also consider part-time workers)

Hours:                               40/week

Salary:                               $23.60/hr

Overtime:                         As per provincial standards - $35.40 after 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week

Observed Holidays:        As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 holidays/yr

Education:                        Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:                      On the job training provided

Job Duties:

• Greet customer promptly and collect patient prescriptions, adhere to provincial legal and regulatory requirements, and check the prescription for completeness
• Process customer transactions and release prescribed medicine to customers.
• Assist in order, receive and maintain the inventory
• Carry out clerical works including, filing prescriptions, invoices, reports, correspondence and memos and complete any administrative support functions assigned.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized and dust-free.
