Responsibilites ( Tasks)
receiving and processing customer orders
serving customers the food they order
preparing hot beverages, such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate
keeping the kitchen and serving areas clean and sanitized
answering customers' questions and providing customer service
accepting payment for orders and providing change if necessary
portioning and wrapping food
clearing tables and cleaning them for the next customers
engaging in plating and portion preparation
stocking counters, fridges, and salad bars as necessary
maintaining sales and inventory records
setting tables with cutlery, napkins, glasses, and condiments
preparing certain food ingredients by peeling or slicing
cleaning dishes and operating a dishwasher
preparing simple foods, such as sandwiches, burgers, and wraps
