Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Tender Love & Care Daycare Inc. is currently looking for a permanent, full time and ECE Assistant to join their team as soon as possible in Surrey, BC

Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Job Location: 9333B 120A Street Surrey, BC V3V 7G6                                                                              

Number of openings: 1        

Wage: $20.00 per hour          

Hours: 40 Hours per week

Language: English    

Job Description:

• Support early childhood educators and supervisor in implementing programs for children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Engage children in activities such as sharing stories, teaching songs, and organizing crafts.
• Arrange rooms and furniture for meals and rest periods and prepare snacks.
• Help children in developing proper eating, dressing, and bathroom habits.
• Make reports on children's behavior and development to educators or supervisors.
• Maintain daycare equipment and assist with housekeeping and cooking.
• Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address concerns.
• Assist ECE and/or Supervisor as per the need.

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of ECEA certificate program
• BC ECEA Certificate
• Experience in child care
