Job description:
Location: Winnipeg, MB R2R 2V1
Salary: $14.15 per hour for 40 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers with a friendly attitude.
- Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operating cash registers to process payments.
- Assembling and packaging food orders.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of the counter area.
- Restocking supplies and condiments as needed.
- Resolving customer complaints or concerns.
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly.
- Following company policies and procedures for service and cleanliness.
- Dispose of kitchen trash and perform sweeping and mopping tasks for floor maintenance.
- To promote efficient and seamless operations, replenish refrigerators and salad bars.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is typically required.
- Having previous experience in food counter services is considered an advantage and holds significant value.
- Strong verbal communication skills (English) are important to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Need to stand for long periods, carry trays or plates, and perform repetitive tasks. Having the physical stamina to handle these responsibilities is essential.
- Must adhere to hygiene and cleanliness standards to ensure food safety and maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Having a friendly and customer-oriented attitude is crucial for providing excellent service and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- One should be able to handle cash transactions, calculate bills, and make changes accurately.
