Job description:
Duties are:
Convert handwritten copy and shorhand into letters and legal documents such as deeds, wills affidavits, and briefs.
Establish professional daily interaction with clients and the courts while setting up calendar and scheduling management.
Investigate the situation, gather information and documentary methods, and provide case -relevant materials.
Prepare case summaries, condense testimony, interrogatories, and depositions, and manage client and witness correspondences.
Coordinate meetings, and appointments for the clients and provide administrative support accordingly.
Set up office routines and procedures, answer, and route phone calls and account billing and collection.
Assist in the planning of hearings and trials and create communications and/or legal papers for review.
Perform various administrative functions, including but not limited to , conflict checks, maintain and organize files and lift of clients.
