Job description:
2 Full-time permanent Retail Supervisors position available at The Dollar Store Plus Inc. located at 3476 Glen Erin Drive, Suite 4, Mississauga, ON, L5L 3R4. Canada:
Main Duties to be completed are as:
- Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Teach interest or professional development courses
- Authorize payments by cheque
- Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions
- Order merchandise or any other material
- Authorize return of merchandise or any other material
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise or any other material
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Employment requirements
- Secondar ( High ) school education is required.
- Previous one year of experience is required.
Compensation:
$20 per hour for 37.50 hours weekly. Overtime starts after 44 hours
