Soloe Builds Ltd.

202 Glenada Crt., Richmond Hill, ON, L4C 5M7.

We are currently searching for five Framing Carpenters.

Work Location:

Various sites in the GTA

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive framing carpentry experience.

You will be required to train apprentices and labours.

Requirements:

From 3 years to less than 5 years

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Handling heavy loads, Combination of sitting, standing, bending, crouching kneeling, large workload, physically demanding.

Work Site Environment:

At heights, noisy, outdoors

Own Tools/Equipment:

Mask, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, tools, safety glasses/googles

Work Setting:

Construction, Various locations

Own Tools/Equipment

Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hour per week

Should be available to work a variable work schedule

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm

Salary:

From $ 32.50 to $ 45.00 depending on your work experience
