Job duties
- Load and unload construction materials and move materials to the work area.
- Build and take down scaffoldingm rams catwalks, shoring and barriers tat are necessary n construction sites.
- Assist heavy equipments operators with securing special attachments to the equipment and provide them signals to help them move the equipment.
- Assist tradespeople working on buidling projects, including roofers, glaziers, bricklayers, cement finishers, and carpenters.
- Transport and handle tools and materials like drills and grinders.
- Install warning signs (such as cones and signposts) for motorists and bystanders, and assist in erecting and moving temporary constructions (such as scaffolding).
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe coditions and perform other activities at construction sites as directed.
