Position: Food Service Supervisor

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $21.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Language: English

Experience: 1 to 2 years in the same or related field

Location: 4700 Kingsway Suite E9, Burnaby, BC, V5H 4M1

Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020) will have to perform all of these duties:

• Greet the customers and make sure they are well seated and attended.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff engaged in preparing, portioning and serving food.
• Make work schedules of the staff
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays
• Maintain records of the stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Ensure that food and services meet quality control standards.
• Help in recruitment of the staff.
• Manage cash register and train the new employees and educate them about safety procedures and sanitation.
• Assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
• Address customer’s complaints or reports.

Additional Skills

Conduct performance reviews; Balance cash, make cash reports and related forms; Organize and maintain inventory
