SALARY
$16.00 per hour, 30-40 hours per week
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
Full-time; Terms or Contract
DUTIES
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Assist in the preparation of food items.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintain a healthy and clean work environment.
- Ensure that all food items are stored and handled in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Keep records or the quantities of food and inventory level.
- Work with the team to ensure that all orders are prepared quickly and accurately.
- Perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- Prefer to have at least secondary education.
- Previous experience in Food Service/Hospitality will be an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
