Position: Laundry Helper

Job Responsibilities

• Use automated washing and drying machines to clean a variety of garments, such as dresses, sheets, coats, and draperies.
• Sort incoming laundry into appropriate categories to ensure each item is washed and dried correctly.
• Inspect garments for stains or damage before and after washing, treating specific areas as necessary.
• Mix detergents, specialized dyes, and bleach for each laundry batch to clean effectively.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by cleaning machines and workstations, and observing health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling and storage.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the manager when laundry supplies need to be restocked.
• Complete all laundry tasks on time, including folding, ironing, and packaging, to provide a comprehensive laundry service experience.
• Interact courteously and professionally with customers, answering queries and resolving complaints.
• Assist with unloading and loading laundry, tagging items, and performing quality control checks.
• Provide customers with the best possible laundry service experience by performing other essential responsibilities as required.

Job Requirements

• Completion of secondary school.
• No experience is required, training will be provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
