Job Description: 

Swaraj is looking for competent Food service supervisor to joins our growing team. 

All indigenous peoples, youth, members of the LGBTQ2A+ community as well as newcomers in Canada are welcome to apply for this position. 

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare food order summaries for chef
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules 

Qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• One-year of relevant experience in the field is required
• Minimum 18 years old in age

• $17 per hour

• 40 hours per week
