Company: Picasso’s bakery

Position available: 1

Wage: $17-18 per hour, depending on experiences plus holiday and over-time pay

Work hours: 35 – 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Language of Work: English

Work location: Maple-Ridge, BC

Responsibilities:

☐ Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

☐ Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

☐ Bake mixed dough and batters

☐ Prepare special orders

☐ Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods

☐ Draw up production schedules

☐ Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

☐ Inspect kitchen and food service areas

☐ Operate machinery

☐ Organize and maintain inventory

☐ Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

☐ Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Requirements:

☐ A high school diploma is required

☐ Bakery-related education experiences or 1- 2 years baking experiences required

☐ Client focus, reliable and attention to detail
