Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day office operations and ensuring efficiency.
- Maintaining records, files, and databases, often in both physical and digital formats.
- Handling incoming and outgoing communications, such as emails, phone calls, and letters.
- Managing calendars, appointments, and meetings for executives or teams.
- Assisting in budget preparation and managing office expenses.
- Preparing and editing reports, memos, and other documents.
- Coordinating activities and projects within the office or across departments.
- Overseeing office facilities, including maintenance and supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Organizing company events, conferences, or workshops.
- Entering data and generating reports or summaries.
- Handling conflicts or issues among staff or clients.
- Managing office software, equipment, and IT needs.
- Implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Addressing challenges and finding solutions to improve office efficiency.
Eligibility requirements:
- A high school graduation certificate or equivalent is usually the minimum educational requirement.
- 2 to 3 years of administrative or office-related experience is essential for this job.
- Clear and effective English communication skills are required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office and the ability to adapt to new technologies is often required.
- A good understanding of administrative processes, office management principles, and relevant laws and regulations is important.
- Often deal with a lot of paperwork and data, so attention to detail is crucial to avoid errors.
- The ability to adapt to changing work environments, priorities, and technology is highly valued.
Location: Mississauga, ON L5N 1V9
Salary: 28.15 hourly / 35 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Number of vacancies: 1
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
